What does it mean when you see the ghost of a loved one?

Alright, so my uncle just passed away. He had 3 heart attacks, two he didn't know about and then the last one obviously killed him. He died about 3 weeks ago. Well, he was a huge animal lover - especially dogs. His dog is staying with family friends now, and the little boy in the family said he saw my uncle standing over the dog. My uncle's ghost wasn't petting the dog apparently; he was just floating there. The little boy said my uncle's skin was clear....if that makes sense. Kind of like in the ghost movies. But in a few seconds my uncle walked to the back door and then just disappeared suddenly. Now this boy doesn't lie and he was a friend of my uncle. And after the wake at my grandma's house the energy was VERY creepy for me. Maybe it was because I didn't have a strong relationship with my uncle? I'm really not sure if this is the reason he hasn't 'visited' me yet. (Not that I want him to, lol.) But I usually have a very strong connection with the paranormal - I've talked to the dead in my dreams and I'm psychic. I have lucid dreams, too. So I guess I'm a little jealous. When you see a ghost, does it mean they're in Heaven, Hell, Purgatory or something of the like (assuming these places exist.) But anyway, what does it mean when you see the ghost of a loved one?

and what you describe doesnt surprise me at all
a ghost is what is called ... residual energy
it is just a play back of time
and your uncle would have stood by his dog , like this many times before
so that energy has been imprinted

I believe a Ghost is actually a physical process that we sometimes physically hear or see of someone passing.
