A liberated mind.

And you're wrong. Not everyone has a family. There IS a world outside of your little shiny bubble, you know. I have a coworker who still has to work in his old age because the system stinks, and he has no family that is alive. No wife, no children, no parents, brothers, sisters, NO ONE.

Christianity was not invented by God, it was invented by people to control other people in the name of God.

I'm agnostic. I don't believe in a particular God like Jesus but I do believe that there's some higher power who controls everything. I mean, even if the Big Bang is true, the first thing has to come from somewhere. Also, I believe that religion as a practice is stupid as going to church, praying to God won't improve your life. In the end your life is what you choose to make of it.

Win? Is this Pascal's wager?
You venerated extraterrestrials?
You sound loopy even before you get to religion, goes downhill from there.

Sleep! No more boring Sunday services for me! I also don't have to feel guilty for having normal feelings and desires. Best of all, I don't have to pretend anymore. It's an all around win for me.

From aliens to talking snakes, now there's a leap of faith. As a non-religious person I am resigned to endure an existence without television, computers, friends, vacations and the ability to enjoy any of the things you've mentioned as a result of hard work and common sense. Oh, the pain. How dreary, drab and stale I have become. Indeed, life is meaningless and without merit. If only I had something interesting to watch on T.V.

The only thing I win is not having to have my cognitive dissonance reduction capabilities overhauled every few weeks.

sad that you have to "sell" religion this way, I am sure it is insulting to your fellow Christan's, but thanks I am good and have most of everything I need, could always use more money lol, but I do make a good living, own my own business, have a house all my computer stuff that I want and a loving family on top, all with atheism and hard work but really thanks any way

sorry
I'm answering someone's question here

1. Giving control to an organization of people to set your life standards, choices, and beliefs. I realize some people crave this as they are overwhelmed by choices and some have a hard time making good choices for themselves but you lose a lot too. Given there is no evidence for the supernatural claims and you happen to be say a female who would like to go to the beach in swimwear but belong to a religion that tells you that you have to wear a Burka its not a good life enhancing choice for you and it was made for you without any really good basis other then a patriarchal society decided the way to deal with sexuality and male jealousy is to make women live their public lives under a sheet. Or say Scientology and you happen to suffer from a mental illness that is treatable with medication but the religion in order to preferentially promote its auditing technique for dealing with mental issues forbids you to take it. Or you happen to be gay and part of a religion that just based on unprovable claims a deity dictated so you have to spend you life a celibate never knowing love. Or a woman who feels her potential and abilities would be maximized by having two children and then pursuing a career as they got older. Her religion though says no birth control so they end up with several they can't really afford and she never gets to realize those other dreams. Or you are a JW or Christian Scientist follower whose child needs some sort of medical treatment forbidden by the religion and dies. Religion is turning your life over to an organization. People in them do it to different degrees though.

Answer:
Christianity is chosen by people to become their way of life. As a way of life they choose to follow their God. Christianity doesn't search for this world happiness, they prefer Heavenly blessing. So A Christian would see your answer as this world thing. And the true Christian doesn't forbid technology, medication, and other things as long as it doesn't harm two main principle that Jesus taught. Honour your Father of Heaven with all your strength, will, and mind, and love others like your love for yourself.
The true Christian follow their way of life not by some organization, they follow it from Bible. The true Bible, as there are a lot of bible that man made only to satisfy their own needs. If you want to know it, learn from the history of transalating the bible

2. The way it may but not always foster greater kindness and connection with members of the religion but often fosters hostility and nonacceptance of those who don't share such beliefs and is used to justify vilifying them and if the group is large enough discriminating against them in society.

Answer:
That is the wrong way of Christian. A true Christian follow the two main principle that Jesus taught. Honour your Father of Heaven with all your strength, will, and mind, and love others like your love for yourself.

3. When the people of the religion in order to hold onto a claim made without good evidence on faith feel they must reject and try to censor new information that has evidence which contradicts their beliefs. Ex. Galileo, Darwin/evolutionary theory

Answer:
Yes, because human has a very little information about God's great work, the creation of universe. But some people just because of their position in community feels that he know everything about God's work and it will lead to his own mindset which is too small that he will understand all the God do in this universe. And in history it proved it lead them to their downfall.
It is written in Bible : ......... My way is not your way .....

4. When people feel that their society should dictate their lifestyle choices they hold because of religion on faith onto all members of the society including those who don't share them. Even when making different choices doesn't interfer with their own rights to live as they choose.

Answer:
Yes, that's surely the wrong way. It lead not by their faith for religion, but it lead by the true nature of humanity, the feeling of superiority because of majority. Just because we're many many more than you then you have to obeyed.
But clearly and actually they don't have true basic of their action from their religion (in Christianity), because if you search in the right Bible, you will see that all of their words which they claim from that book is just one part that if you read partially could have mean in that, but if you read the whole text, then you will know that their claim is just nothing written in that book.

5. When people use their religion to be very judgmental of others and to allege that those without such beliefs can't be moral while breaking their own code themselves and reasoning "not perfect, just saved." At the same time if a member of their religion demonstrates that the religion actually mostly fails at making people moral or kind they argue, "well, they aren't a real <insert belie
