Is Bhuddism more peaceful than Christianity and does it have a higher standard of living?

The meditation practices and leanings toward being a vegetarian make bhuddism seem much more appealing than christianity. It doesn't focus on a single God, believes in no permanent hell or heaven, and respects the environment. Christians are tought to be the chosen people while bhuddists aren't suppose to think of themselves as being above the animals. This passion for animals, in christianity they don't even have a soul, and the practice of meditation instead of prayer to a spiritual deity makes bhuddism seem very appealing!

Yes more peaceful. The most bloody things in history were done by Christians whereas budist countries live in peace.

Actually Christian countries have a higher standard of living than do Buddhist countries, if thats what you mean.

A lot Christianity is based on particular teaching of a sect or teacher. They say something is but is it really true, or is it just part of tradition? True Christianity is belief in Christ, which is not that far from the teachings of Buddha.

I think each religion have the same main purpose and it is to seek enlightenment and peace within, just they are done in different ways. The bible and sutras do contain the same purpose just the way it is presented is different. It's like Math text book but written by different authors, the aim of the text book is to teach us math, just that each author will prioritise chapters differently. So there's no religion is the best or right, its just humans that want to differentiate things so that they could feel more special about their belief, actually every matter in this world is special.

Buddhism isn't really a religion its a Guide of text from ancient Spiritual Leaders and Counselors to Teach one how to live life with the Least amount of suffering as possible by making Wise and Noble decisions. To teach one how to maintain Peace and Balance in life and to learn from the mistakes of Elders before them. But yeah its a very very peaceful Spirituality with very little Extremist.

No and no.
Buddhism has a lot of faces and how peaceful it is depends upon what school of it you are seeing and which country it is in.
Some of the most repressive regimes that ever existed have been Buddhist.
One that comes to mind is the Tibetan Buddhist regime overseen by the Lamas before the Chinese ran them out of the country.
Consider that the Japanese were Buddhist from the time of the Shoguns until today.
You also have the Shining Path revolutionary groups who are Buddhist communists.

Hi there..Well first of all you are asking does Buddhism have a better way of life than Christianity..Being a Buddhist does not change the fact that Christianity is very real and the fact that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of mankind..Buddha once asked what is truth Jesus says i am the truth (John 14 verse 6) Buddhist believe in a life of enlightenment but does that bring salvation for the soul of man?You also say that Buddhism does not believe in a single God but does that change the fact that God is real? If you don't believe in the God of Christianity then were do you receive your enlightenment from?..To know that the bible is real and the word of God is very real the bible says in the last days men shall wax worst and worst and the love of many shall grow cold and wickedness shall be on the rise and we are facing that more and more every day are we not? the teachings of Jesus far out weigh the wisdom of Buddha..
